Awaken the Voice Within. . . Your Sixth Sense

You may have heard of ESP, intuition or even someone’s psychic abilities to provide answers to the unknown, or even make predictions about what is happening in the past, present or future. Do you ever wonder if that sixth sense is valid? And if so, who has it, where does it come from, how is it used and why is it important?

Life Mastery – August 2013

As I sit down to write this article, I will celebrate my 55th birthday in a few days, and I can’t wait. For some people, this juncture of true middle age could bring on a melancholy mood after taking inventory of a life possibly more than half complete. Yet for me, I am excited about my golden years of stepping into a truer, stronger, fearless and wiser me.

It’s The Small Things

We often hear, “It’s the little things in life that matter.” That small remembrances or thoughtful gestures are what really count, and make the biggest difference in life. Yet, it is easy to get caught up in the “big stuff” — creating a successful business or trying to get that next promotion, finding the perfect partner, being the best parent, building wealth, designing the ideal home, publishing a book, perfecting the body. When attempting to achieve our dreams, the small day-to-day acts of kindness are sometimes quickly dismissed, easily forgotten or completely overlooked.

Know Your Line

Do you have good boundaries? Do you know how to set them, honor them and adjust them with the people and situations in your life? It seems to me “boundary” has become a popular buzz word to describe what went wrong in certain situations, yet more definition, self-refection and responsibility might be needed. I often hear the word “boundaries” come up in conversations as a way for individuals to explain a situation, exert power, make a strong point or justify why they are angry, confused or hurt when their lines have been crossed by certain situations or difficult people.

The Magic of Possibilities

Where do you live? What occupies your mind and what do you think about most of the time? Are your thoughts positive and filled with hopes, dreams and aspirations — or do you live with fear, doubt, anxiety and pessimism? Do you consider what’s possible for you, your family, and your future? Or is it just “wishful thinking,” with no real conviction or the assurance of a positive result?

Create Your Personal Brand

In business, agencies are hired to give new meaning and fresh perspectives to their client’s brands through various media outlets. In life, people hire coaches to help them do the same thing, discover who they are and then choose how they want to show up in the world. In both cases, we are engaged to offer our experience, creative solutions, objective viewpoints, expansive ideas, accountability and forward movement.
